Polish Federation of Apparel & Textiles, established in 1965 is organization associating companies from clothing and textile sector; their unions and associations, trade enterprises, as well as research organizations, and universities.
The main objectives of the Federation are:
- to express opinions in the area of economic policy effecting T/C industry by submitting to the state authorities and parliamentary commissions problems reported by companies and suggestions of the possible solutions,
- to promote the interests of its members while taking into account the European Union's institutional framework and its international obligations,
- to create an environment which is conducive to the manufacture and trade of textile and clothing products,
- to participate in research, development, innovation and other educational or social projects at the domestic and European level which bring value added to the industry,
- to engage in a constructive social dialogue with our social partners at the domestic and EU level,
- to collect, analyze and disseminate economic and statistical data for the members.
The Federation is constantly modifying its activities, always to be able to respond to the changing business reality, the needs of its members and more and more demanding consumer.
The Federation represents Polish textile and clothing sector in EURATEX - the European Apparel and Textile Organization.
